Locate - help us find a rough sleeper

You can help rough sleepers by alerting Dudley Council to the whereabouts of people you think are rough sleeping. You can do this by using StreetLink - a location application that sends the precise location of the person needing attention to outreach teams.

How Streetlink works

  1. Locate a person sleeping rough who needs help.
  2. Open Streetlink
  3. Enter the street name or postcode of their exact location.

You can opt-in to be kept updated on what happens to the person next.

  • If you think someone is in a life threatening situation, call 999
  • Make sure that they are known to the outreach service in the area, you can do this through the StreetLink website
  • You can find further information about what services are available to help people at risk of rough sleeping through Street Support Network
  • If it is safe, talk to the person and ask what would help
