You can help Walsall's specialist teams to help rough sleepers by letting them know the whereabouts of people you think are rough sleeping. You can do this by using StreetLink - a location application that sends the precise location of the person needing attention to outreach teams.

How Streetlink works
- Locate a person sleeping rough who needs help.
- Open Streetlink
- Enter the street name or postcode of their exact location.
You can opt-in to be kept updated on what happens to the person next.
How you can help a rough sleeper
If you are worried about someone who you believe may be sleeping rough, there are a number of ways in which you can help:
- If you think someone is in a life threatening situation, call 999
- Make sure that they are known to the outreach service in the area, you can do this through the StreetLink website
- You can find further information about what services are available to help people at risk of rough sleeping through Street Support Network
- If it is safe, talk to the person and ask what would help
